Visionary Apps, LLC., creators of innovative smart phone tools that aim to improve peoples lives, recently announced the launch of their suite of real estate-related smart phone applications, called the Complete Realty Suite. Released for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, this first series of applications (apps) promise to revolutionize the way that people conduct their home buying searches, and the way real estate professionals connect with and assist potential homebuyers. Free to consumers, the suite includes three separate applications for download: Complete Foreclosures, Complete Homes and Complete Rentals. Most Web-based listing sites only offer a few hundred thousand listings, however these handheld apps hold over 1.6 million listings nationwide per app, for the most complete mobile database available.
With the founding of Visionary Apps, our goal is to truly revolutionize the way people buy, sell and search for homes in particular foreclosures, which represent a tremendous value and the sale of which will help move us out of this crippling housing crisis, explained Dan Burrus, founder, technology forecaster and business strategist. Our first series of apps empowers people with more information than theyve ever had in the palm of their hand, and helps match them with their dream home or rental at the best price possible.
Complete Foreclosures
For consumers looking to find their dream home at a foreclosure price, the Complete Foreclosures real estate app allows users to access more than 1.6 million foreclosed, pre-foreclosed (short-sale), auction, and bank-owned homes throughout the nation right from their fingertips. The app provides each property’s asking price, square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, year built, housing type, and also includes a picture and satellite aerial view of each home, a detailed map, driving directions and much more. To help users through the often complex home buying process, the app includes an intelligent, built-in step-by-step Foreclosure Buying Guide to navigate users towards a safe and informed purchase with as little hassle possible. The software also has the ability to access the smart phones GPS chip to quickly locate homes on-the-go with an interactive map. To narrow choices, the app sorts homes by price, proximity, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, or other important features. For added convenience, users can instantly share listings with friends and family through a one-click email feature. When users are ready to make a purchase, the software has the ability to connect them with a licensed real estate foreclosure expert based on zip code to make sure they get a local rep that understands the foreclosure buying process and can advise them about the property in question.
For existing homeowners, the Complete Foreclosures app allows users to monitor and judge the health and economic well-being of their neighborhood and allows them to be the first to know about pre-foreclosure document filings from missed mortgage payments (homes that have been sent a notice of default). This is a must-have tool for serious real estate investors.
Complete Homes
Powered by the same robust technology as the Complete Foreclosures app, the Complete Homes app provides easy access to 40-percent more listings than many other national home listing services, offering details on a property’s asking price, square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and much more through its intuitive and easy-to-use interface and streamlined design. In addition to a picture or aerial view of the home, the app can also recommend licensed, qualified, local real estate agents (from within the actual listing) to help buyers make the best possible decision.
Complete Rentals
Similarly powerful and utilizing the same technology as Complete Foreclosures and Complete Homes, the Complete Rentals app offers instant search of hundreds of thousands of apartments and rental homes nationwide with the most advanced and user-friendly national listing service available in the App Store. In addition, apartment hunters can access local listings using their phones GPS technology to view apartments and homes instantly from their current location (whether from the car or while out to lunch with friends). Once the user has completed their searching and has decided on a building, the app includes direct contact info for the appropriate property management company to make submitting a rental application easier than ever.

I am inputing listings in the MLS and realtors have been faxing me hard to read input sheets to enter. I waist alot of time calling them back and trying to figure out what they wrote down.
Create a web site form and have them fill it out on line. When you get it back its already filled in and can easily be cut and paste if you still want to waste time (albiet less time than before) entering it. Or have a web programmer take it and automatically send it to where it needs to go.
You can have the site hosted with a database for making them login and have the whole thing secure for less than a 200-300 bucks a year. And you should be able to have the thing designed for something like 8 hours of work at no more than $50/hr if you just shop around.
I would do it for that if you can’t find anyone reasonable just for the learning experience. I do a lot of database and web stuff and think I could figure out something that would make ya happy. Just let me know if you are interested.
Everyone has heard this…
"Earn license in just 2 months!!!"
I have learned that anything worth having takes a lot of work and that doesn’t seem like a lot compared to taking the college courses which could be over a year in some cases. So are these schools legit? What is the difference between traditional colleges that take longer and the "fast" way?
If possible, what would be best for me? I barely graduated high school, have done some college, support myself, with a great but full time job. Now I feel it’s time to get into being an entrepreneur and I want to work fast (I want to start very young). Money is no object, I will figure out a way to make it work if it is a good investment in the long run…
Well, if you are looking to being an entrepreneur getting a real estate license is not the way. It is really easy to get the license, but you have to work for a broker, you just don’t go out on your own and start selling houses.
The schools are mostly legit, they prepare you for the test. In CA you only have to get 60% of the answers right to pass. You can pass by simply guessing.
If you are serious about being an entrepreneur you should think about getting a regular 4 year degree in business. You can’t learn the skills you will need to start and run your own business in a 1 year class.
It says "the page you requested was not found" with this computer, but when i use another computer it works well.
I have vista. When i open the website with firefox it does open, but it doesn’t work with windows explorer.
If you use Internet Explorer check if the security level ist at medium high by going to Tools >> internet Options >> security tab >> see if the security bar is at the middle which is the medium high
Check also that you have internet connection on the computer which cannot access the web site. Try to access other web sites and see if they load.
Does anyone know how to become an agent or has any adive about the process?
If I wanted to become a nurse then i would go into nursing but I don’t so your answer will not help but thanks for the suggestion. I am not sure this is what I want i am just looking for more information. Right now I think its a good time to take classes and learn about it since it is slow.
Heather, there are several ways in which you can get your real estate license. The State of Illinois gov’t website can direct you to it’s real estate division which should list licensed instructors and/or places where you can take courses. Check your local colleges, many of them offer real estate courses. In our area, it is often advertised when classes will start(there are many people who are licensed instructors who hold classes in places other than college campuses. I took my course at the local high school). You might even contact the Illinois Association of Realtors. The market is pretty yucky right now, but there sure are a lot of foreclosures being listed right now! To begin, you will have to pay for class and to take the state test. On the upside, these expenses are tax deductable, as would be your mileage. Best of luck!
I have other realtors in my office I can advertise for them, but being a realtor and the listings are the other realtor’s listings, I am not sure I can advertise the listings legally.
I’m not sure about the legality question, but it is against the Realtor Code of Ethics to advertise another agent’s listing without their permission.
Most agents I know will gladly give you permission to advertise it in place where they aren’t already advertising it. It’s just more exposure.
Say a house is listed with Agent B who works for Brokerage G. If Agent B decides to quit Brokerage G and go to work for Brokerage D, does the house stay listed with Agent B or Brokerage G?
Brokerage G could be nasty and keep the listing even if sellers want to transfer it to Brokerage D, but why deal with unhappy sellers. If sellers ask for a transfer in writing, it will usually be done.
