Any1 who lives in georgia do you think that the realestate is really cheap?

I was looking online at remax.com to see some homes in georgia. Omg I couldn’t believe how cheap it was I mainly looked in athens and savannah georgia. I saw some homes that had 5 bedrooms,4bathrooms,a tennis court and a swimming pool for $299,000. That is soooooo cheap because I know most houses in chicago that are like that cost around $600,000.

I too am from Chicago and agree that Ga (Savannah included) are very cheap compared to what we are used to. BUT living in Chicago (or one of the close suburbs) is what you are paying for. Chicago has EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you could ask for in a city. Savannah and some of the other cities are way far away from Atlanta. So while the homes may be cheaper you will be farther away from the city. While Atlanta is nice, there is nothing like Chicago, if that’s where you’re from.

He was "the" Community Organizer…the one with all the ideas and answers to the woes of the "common man". If his ideas and actions were so great as to make him qualified to be President…should we use this as the "benchmark" for gaging the probability of his future successes?

Jesus Is Alright…so, when you ask "what else should we have done…", are you telling us that out of all the Democrats in the country, a Socialist Community Organizer is the best you could come up with? Where is the man who has a plan for government to place regulations, control business and make government bigger? A man who has a bandwagon to gain power and get rich by screaming for government to control weather and make carbon credits the contraband for socialism.

Has he abandoned his cause? Maybe the $110million the pig has made off the issue is all he can milk it for. More likely the democrat machine has told him to lie low for a while, till they get the health care takeover out of the way, then he can go back to working on his energy and economy takeover openly once again. Maybe they’re just waiting for another warm year so they can re-start the hysterics.

Folks, for the last 15 years dear Al has been running around pointing to "hottest year on record" and "look at the heat wave Podunk had this summer" to con you into believing the sky was on fire. But we’ve been having global warming for the last four and a half billion years. It alternates with global cooling. The temperature goes up and down, back and forth, five years at a time, five hundred years, and five hundred thousand years at a time. Up, down, up, down. Back before the global warming insanity there had been twenty years of global cooling scare. Before that, if you read a geography book, they’d tell you "of course the earth is heating up, we’re coming out of an ice age that ended just ten thousand years ago."

Everyone please grow up and realize that your lifetime is a mere speck where the earth is concerned, and what the weather does over five years means nothing. What the weather does over a thousand years also means nothing, because in another thousand years the trend will be heading in the opposite direction.

San Jose is a great place to live. Being in the Bay Area, it is more liberal than conservative but not nearly as conservative as some communities in the area.
